What they don’t see: Hannibal -a basketball story

After deciding he wanted a career change, Jacky Tran started to see communications opportunities everywhere. Hearing about the blended experience in journalism and communications offered through MMJC at Western, he enrolled in the program to gain the skills to help him stand out to employers.

Once he completed his internship at Ryerson University’s communications department, the time had begun to start thinking about how he would demonstrate all the skills he learned throughout the program in his capstone project. Using journalism storytelling, strategic communication, and video shooting and editing, Jacky produced a captivating communications video about Jasonn Hannibal, an aspiring NBA player and his basketball journey.
