Shannon Gee had already completed her post graduate diploma in Public Relations with Western Continuing Studies and worked in corporate communications for over a year when she decided it was time to come back and further her formal education in communications with the MMJC program.
After interning with London Police Services this past summer, Shannon recognized that a lot of the promotional recruiting material focused only on police officers and not on the people behind the scenes. For her final Capstone Project, Shannon created a video to show the other, and equally important, side of policing.
See Shannon’s video here on YouTube.
Capstone Projects are produced by MMJC students at the very end of the program, as a chance to demonstrate their new skills and explore ideas and themes that interest them. Learn more about the MMJC program and apply at the FIMS website: fims.uwo.ca/mmjc
